The invention relates to measuring technique and is intended for measuring mass pressure in a twin-screw extruder. The purpose of the invention is to simplify the design. The drawing shows the proposed device. The device comprises output shafts 1 of two extruder screwed meshes (not shown) installed in backpressure support units 2. Using the cover with flanges 3, the connecting flange 4 of the casing (not shown) of the extruder is closed. In the housing 5 in the wall 6 there is a support flange 7 for receiving the coupling bolts 8. The opposite ends of the coupling bolts with the help of nuts 9 are screwed to the cover with flanges 3. On the tie bolts 8 are semiconductor strain gauge sensors 10, which are calibrated according to the diameter and material property of the tie bolts and are connected to the measuring device 11. Using a measuring device to which an indicator device is connected, for example, a voltmeter 12, measured values are determined and displayed. The effect of pressure Fa on the output shaft 1 is distributed according to the arrows shown, then through the support nodes 2 back pressure on the support flange 7, the coupling bolts 8 and the cover with flanges 3.
